Qualcuno potrebbe obiettare che \u00abil caff\u00e8 come lo abbiamo in Italia \u00e8 il vero caff\u00e8\u00bb oppure che \u00abnoi italiani abbiamo il vero espresso\u00bb e ancora \u00abcosa vogliono saperne di caff\u00e8 in Australia?\u00bb.<br \/>\nSono molti i baristi italiani (o aspiranti tali) che partono alla volta della terra dei canguri credendo che sar\u00e0 una passeggiata ma non \u00e8 proprio cos\u00ec:[su_highlight background=&#8221;#d5dbfe&#8221;]in Australia esistono moltissime variet\u00e0 di caff\u00e8, diverse misure, diverse temperature, diversi tipi di zucchero.[\/su_highlight]E, ovviamente, a ogni tipo di bevanda corrisponde un nome diverso.<br \/>\nEcco perch\u00e9 oggi vorrei parlare di<strong>\u00a0<em>coffee culture<\/em> in Australia<\/strong> e stilare un piccolo <em>vademecum<\/em> per baristi. Spero ti sia utile!<\/p>\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">CAFF\u00c9 (e varie)<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Espresso o short black<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">: \u00e8 l\u2019espresso (pi\u00f9 o meno) in stile italiano;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Cappuccino<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(detto anche <em>cap<\/em>): \u00e8 come il nostro cappuccino ma con una spolverata di cacao (la crema di latte, che in Australia \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 schiumosa, si chiama <em>foam<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Decaf<\/em><\/strong>: caff\u00e8 decaffeinato;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Latte<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 in realt\u00e0 un caffellatte in tazza di vetro con circa un centimetro di schiuma;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Flat white<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 un cappuccino senza polvere di cacao e senza schiuma;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Piccolo<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 un latte in tazza piccola;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Macchiato<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 simile a un caff\u00e8 macchiato o, meglio, schiumato;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Macchiatone<\/strong><\/em> (o <em>half latte<\/em>): \u00e8 la met\u00e0 di un latte (cio\u00e8 di un caffellatte) servito in un bicchiere di vetro;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Chai latte<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 un latte al sapore di cannella (ne esistono anche le varianti alla vaniglia e alla nocciola);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Long black<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 simile al caff\u00e8 americano cio\u00e8 \u00e8 allungato con acqua calda;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Hot chocolate<\/strong><\/em>: cioccolata calda piuttosto\u00a0liquida;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Cioccolata italiana<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 la nostra cioccolata, densa e cremosa;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Vienna Coffee<\/strong><\/em>: pu\u00f2 avere come base un <em>flat white\u00a0<\/em>o un <i>long black;\u00a0<\/i>nella tazza da cappuccino si prepara uno dei due e poi lo si riempie di panna montata e cacao;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Mocha<\/strong><\/em>: anche se il nome pu\u00f2 trarre in inganno, si tratta di un mix fra <em>cappuccino<\/em> e <em>hot chocolate.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">LATTE<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una volta scelto il caff\u00e8 (e varie) il cliente sceglie anche il tipo di latte che \u00e8 la bevanda pi\u00f9 bevuta in Australia! Non solo a colazione ma durante l&#8217;arco di tutta la giornata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em><strong>full cream milk<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 un latte ricco e denso, simile al nostro latte intero;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>skim milk<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 il latte scremato;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>soy milk<\/strong><\/em>: sempre pi\u00f9 in voga anche da noi, questo latte \u00e8 di soia e, spesso, \u00e8 scelto da chi soffre di intolleranze;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>almond milk<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 il latte di mandorla, alternativa a quello di soia e a quello normale. Anche questo \u00e8 consigliato a chi ha problemi con il lattosio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">LO ZUCCHERO<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pensavi che fosse finita qui e invece&#8230; In Australia c&#8217;\u00e8\u00a0<strong>l&#8217;abitudine per cui il barista deve, spesso, dolcificare lui stesso la bevanda <\/strong>ecco perch\u00e9 il cliente sceglier\u00e0 anche il tipo di zucchero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em><strong>sugar<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8, ovviamente, il classico zucchero bianco;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>raw sugar\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>(o\u00a0<em>cane sugar<\/em>)<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00e8 lo zucchero di canna;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>brown sugar<\/strong><\/em>: zucchero di canna integrale;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>equal<\/strong><\/em>: \u00e8 il dolcificante (uno zucchero ipocalorico);<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>sugar free<\/em><\/strong>: in molti scelgono di bere il proprio caff\u00e8 senza zucchero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">LE TAZZE<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adesso passiamo alla scelta della\u00a0<strong>grandezza della tazza&#8230; incredibile, vero??!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong><em>small<\/em><\/strong>: ovviamente una tazza piccola ma un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 grande di una nostra tazzina da caff\u00e8;<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>medium<\/em><\/strong>: media; cio\u00e8 un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 grande di quella\u00a0da cappuccino.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Tuttavia la scelta \u00e8, spesso, limitata a due sole grandezze: <strong><em>regular<\/em><\/strong> o <strong><em>large<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0e,\u00a0talvolta, ti sar\u00e0 chiesto un \u00be ovvero una tazza riempita poco oltre la\u00a0met\u00e0. Chiaramente la scelta della tazza \u00e8 importante a seconda che il cliente\u00a0voglia consumare il caff\u00e8 dentro il bar o fuori. In questo caso avremo:<\/p>\n\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em><strong>mug<\/strong><\/em>: la classica tazza (con o senza piattino) scelta da chi consuma all&#8217;interno del locale;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>cap<\/strong><\/em>: il contenitore da asporto scelto da chi opta per il <em>take away <\/em>(attenzione: <em>cup<\/em> identifica il contenitore termico in cui si trasporta la bevanda ma, comunemente, si chiede\u00a0\u00ab<em>Would you like a cup of coffee?\u00bb <\/em>intendendo una tazza!)<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">LE QUANTIT\u00c0<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Non crederai che sia finita qui&#8230;??!!
